This followed a writ petition by Mr Agha, challenging the legal propriety of the action.
In his petition, Mr Agha said that he was appointed as Chairman of KSMC by an order of Social Welfare department on October 5. He sought the Court to quash the general note issued by the Chief Secretary on Oct 12 in so far as it relates to his post in KSMC.
Justice S Abdul Nazeer before on Thursday ordered notices to CS, Principal Secretary of Social Welfare department (Minorities Welfare) and the KSMC. While seeking the respondent authorities’ statements of objections within two weeks, the judge directed the parties, not to precipitate the matter for a period of six weeks.
