Sri Krishna Jayanti and taluk Yadava convention will be held in Government Pre-University College grounds on October 29 under the aegis of Yadava Association.
 The procession which will begin from Channabasaveshwara temple, pass through several streets, and reach the college grounds. MLA S R Sreenivas will inaugurate the convention in the presence of Sri Yadavananda  Swamiji of  Sri Yadava Maha Samsthana Mutt, Chitradurga.
According to sources Taluk Yadava Association President G S Bettaswamy will preside over the function. Former minister A Krishnappa will unveil the portrait of Sri Krishna on the occasion. Agriculture Minister of Andra Pradesh Government Raghuveera Reddy will release a book on the occasion.
Litterateur S Nagappa, former minister Muniyappa Muddappa, MLA’s Umapati, K N Rajanna, K S Kirankumar, Tippeswamy, Zilla Panchayat President Krishnamurthy, District Government Employees Association President G M Sannamuddaiah and other guests will participate in the function, said Taluk Yadava Student Association President H Lakshmana Gowda and Secretary Varadenahalli Siddaraju.
