Manoj Tyagi, the writer of Page3, has taken up another metro-centric issue in his directorial debut in Mumbai Salsa. The movie revolves around dysfunctional lives of eight friends who live in a metro in the most realistic manner.
The movie is so unconventional that not many people will be able to relate to it.
Mumbai Salsa is a pub where the principle characters of the movie meet and from there, their life changes forever.
Tyagi deserves credit for being so brave to pick up such a topic and cast new comers in his directorial debut. It, however, fails to engage the audience because the first hour has no meat.
The characters in the film and their stories miss a point somewhere. Would you be interested in knowing about lives of these bunch of losers. If you are still thinking, take my advise....sit home!
