Doordarshan Kendra, Bangalore in association with the Department of Sainik Welfare Resettlement and Bangalore University is organsisng a special lyrical tribute to martyrs, ‘Smarananjali’on October 28 at the Jnanajyothi Auditorium in Bangalore.

Mahesh Joshi, Director, Doordarshan Kendra said, here on Friday, that the programme is organised to commemorate the martyrdom by soldiers of Karnataka for protecting the country from terrorists. “Musician Dr L Subramaniam, playback artists Kavita Krishnamurthy, Chandrika Gururaj and others are expected to perform. The event will be telecast live on DD - 1 (Karnataka Regional Service) and DD - Chandana from 3 pm to 8 pm” he said.
Only invited audience may attend the programme.
