Kolar Zilla Panchayat approves members' action plan  
The Zilla Panchayat meeting which was held on Saturday decided to consider the comprehensive action plan approved by the members of Zilla Panchayat and rejected the guidelines proposed by the Chief Engineer under 12th Financial Scheme of CMGSY for the development of roads under the limits of Zilla Panchayat.
'Release funds for the beneficiaries'  
Karnataka Praja Raitha Horata Sene volunteers staged a protest in Kolar on Saturday demanding for the release of funds to the beneficiaries identified in the district under the Rashtriya Safai Karmachari Rehabilitation Scheme.

    With the Left parties rejecting any compromise on the nuclear deal with the United States, should the UPA government dump the deal and move ahead?
