Members J Krishna Singh, M Narayanaswamy, Krishna Singh, Tupalli Narayanaswamy, M Srinivas Muniraju, Karahalli Muniswamy said that the officials along with the Chief Engineer have neglected the members under CMGSY scheme.

Alleging them of failing in their duties with regard to this, the members said that, even though Malur Taluk Deputy Executive Engineer and Section Officials were asked to consider the decisions of members in this regard, they have thrown the order to the winds, the members alleged.

Finally President Nagaratna agreed to send the proposal approved by the members and also it was approved that a proposal of the final action plan of Rs 3.20 lakh will be sent to the government.

A separate meeting will be held to discuss as to how to tackle drinking water crisis in the district, said ZP President Nagaratna when members Karahali Muniswamy, Naganal Somanna, Muni Raju, Kokila, Gowramma and others questioned the matter.

Women members Kokila, Gowramma, Yashodamma, Shobha and others demanded to dig borewells in rural areas.
