KFD stages protest against Narendra Modi

 Karnataka Forum for Dignity (KFD) organised a huge rally in protest against the involvement of Narendra Modi led government in 2002 Gujarat carnage, at Clock Tower on Saturday.

KFD activists shouted slogans against Narendra Modi and his government and demanded the dissolution of the Gujarat government immediately.

Speaking on the occasion Dalit Sangharsh Samithi Udupi District President Jayanth Malpe demanded the resignation of a Narendra Modi for the massacre which was an act of gross violation of human rights and urged that Modi should be debarred from contesting the forth coming Assembly polls in Gujarat.

Stating the post Godhra train incident as the most barbaric act in the Indian history, Mr Malpe said that this is the best example for state sponsored terrorism. He also called upon the BJP leaders to discard the saffron stripes and stop terrorising people in the name of Lord Rama.S R S College Sirva Faculty Murgesh described Modi as a great threat to the communal harmony of the country.

KFD Udupi district President Abdul Rehaman, KFD Bantwal taluk  President Anwar Sadath,  writer G Rajashekar, Members Komu Sauharda Vedike Janardhan Bhandarkar, B Gopal Shetty, Sridhar Bhat and former Zilla Panchayath president Vanajakhshi were present.
