Dr Devraj Urs Vichara Vedike will organise a free health check-up and treatment camp with the help of a team of doctors from Narayana Hrudayalaya, Bangalore on November 17 and 18, informed Vedike President T V Shivashankarappa.

Speaking at the preparatory meeting organised at the Taluk Panchayat premises, he said the camp will be organised at the Government PU College. The team of expert doctors led by Dr Devi Shetty will participate in the camp. Rotary Club of the town and various organisations will assist the programme, he informed.

Rotary President Praveen Nahar, H Chandrappa of Arivu Vedike, Taluk Panchayat Vice-President Anandappa and G T Ramesh of Editors’ Association spoke. BHP Taluk President K Nagraj, Shekharappa of DSS, Town Municipal Council former vice-president T B Shivanna, Dadapir, Lingamoorthi, Banuru Devirappa, Gurumurthy, C R Basavaraj and Kittaiah were present.
