Troop cut in J&K soon: A K Antony
Srinagar, DHNS:

Defence Minister A K Antony on Saturday said the issue of troop reduction in J &K is under the consideration of the central government.

Speaking to mediapersons at Pahalgam, Antony said the decision on the troop reduction issue would be taken only after the recommendations of the high powered committee set up by Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, are received.

He said in the meantime, the government will relocate security forces from all schools, government buildings and orchards, latest by November 30.

Mr Antony arrived on a day-long visit to Kashmir on Saturday morning and reviewed the security scenario in Valley with top government, army, police and para-military officials here.
