The body of a person who has been brutally murdered was found at J M J road in Koppa on Sunday.
According to police, the deceased has been identified as Raghavendra, a resident of Vittalamakki in Kuduregundi.
Raghavendra was running a hotel in Heddur. However, the hotel was closed down and he had returned to Vittalamakki. He was also said to be an alcoholic. He had sent his wife and two children to her native place.
A case has been registered.
