Animal-Carrying Satellite Soon
London, Oct 28
A lecturer was quoted on Moscow Radio last night as saying that a new earth satellite carrying animals would be launched in the near future.
The radio in English said the lecturer Dr Viktor Malkin described at a Moscow polytechnic today the work done by Soviet scientists in studying the organism of animals during flight at high speeds and in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Future Policy On National Language

Mr B N Datar, Minister in the Ministry of Home Affairs said here today that the Governemnt of India would formulate their future policy on Hindi as the national language soon after the Parliamentary Committee submitted its report.

Janata MP’s Challenge

The City Corporation’s reported move to lease out a plot of land in Kalasipalyam, measuring 1,167 sq metres to a private transport operator took a new turn today with Janata Party MP T R Shamanna making a higher offer for the plot.
Mr Shamanna told newsmen here that the Corporation’s move was illegal and unwise. It was against the State Government’s professed policy.
