Jet Airways will be launching a cargo airliner next year, the first of its kind in the country, an official from the airlines said here on Sunday.

“We are looking at setting up a cargo airliner next year, because India doesn’t have one. This cargo airliner will not only be the pride of India but even the world will be proud of (it),” Naresh Goyal, Founder and Chairman, Jet Airways said. To boost its imports and exports, the country would need a cargo airliner, he said at the launch of Jet Airways’ first flight from Chennai to Toronto via Brussels.
