Sania steadies at 32nd; Bopanna gains two rungs
New Delhi, UNI :
Notwithstanding her absence from the court,due to a stomach injury, Sania Mirza has managed to hold on to her 32nd place in the latest WTA chart issued today.

The 20-year-old has also not lost her position in the doubles ranking and managed to hold on to her 19th position in the doubles  chart.

Meanwhile, the Hyderabadi girl, will be back in action in the Hopman Cup along with fellow countrymen Rohan Bopanna.Bopanna, gained two positions to be placed at 260th, his compatriot Prakash Amritraj, meanwhile, moved one place to be   placed at 271 in the men's singles ranking. Interestingly, unheralded Ashutosh Singh jumped a staggering 73 position to  be placed at 591, while Sunil Kumar Sipaeya, gained 10 position to
be placed at 595 place.

Meanwhile, in the doubles ATP rankings, there were no major movements as both Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi held on to their last week's 17th and 21st positions respectively in the individual rankings.

Bopanna though climbed one rung in the doubles ranking at 78th position. Meanwhile, Ashutosh Singh has climbed the ladder in doubles as well, with a impressive jump of 51 position, to be placed at 413th.
