Governor Rameshwar Thakur on Sunday held the first meeting of the Executive Committee comprising the newly appointed advisors.
The Committee reviewed the developmental works pertaining to various departments and decided to convene a meeting of secretaries of all departments to “beef-up” the administration on Monday.
Janata Darshan
Deputy Commissioners of the districts have been directed to hold “Janata Darshan” at district and taluk headquarters, Mr Thakur later told reporters. The meeting appointed B V Acharya as the Advocate General of the state with immediate effect.
The Committee, equivalent to the state Cabinet, consists of P P Prabhu, S Krishna Kumar, both retired IAS officials, and P K Tharakan, a retired IPS officer.
