No power supply today
There will no power supply on October 31 from 10.30 am to 5 pm due to technical work being carried out by Bescom. The areas are: HRBR I, II, III and IV Blocks, Kalyan Nagar, Jalavayu Vihar, Kamanahalli Main Road, BTS Depot and surrounding areas.

Bescom service centres
BESCOM will open ‘Customer Service Centres’ at all its divisional offices in the City with effect from November 1, 2007. The first of such centres would be inaugurated by the MD of KPTCL Mr Bharat Lal Meena on Wednesday at 10 am at the office of the Executive Engineer (Electrical), North Division, BESCOM, 2nd Block, Rajajinagar.

AIR, DD staff plan stir
Akashvani and Doordarshan Administrative Staff Association (ADASA), an association under AIR and DD has planned an all-India agitation to press the government for immediate release of orders granting the pay parity with the other cadres of AIR and Doordarshan.  On November 2, the Association will stage a protest and intensify its protest if its demands are not met.
