The scion of the Mysore royal family and former MP Srikanta Datta Narasimharaja Wadiyar on Tuesday urged for the dissolution of the State assembly at the earliest.
Addressing the reporters after inaugurating the 10th inter-collegiate athletic championship organised by the Visvesvaraya Technological University in Tipur, he said that the present political developments would lead to horse trading.
All the three parties had demanded the dissolution of the assembly earlier. The Governor should dissolve the assembly based on the earlier letter submitted by H D Deve Gowda and not allow the formation of a BJP-JD (S) government, he said.
He reiterated his stance of entering state politics and said that he was ready to take up any responsibility assigned by AICC.
Dravid’s return
