Misuse of  scheme
Development works that had to be undertaken at  Majare Srinivasapura Harijan Colony, Kurubarahalli, under the Kugrama Sugrama Development Scheme has been shifted to Kurubarahalli  Byalakke, thus cheating the residents of our colony of the development works, complained the Srinivasapura Harijan Colony residents.

Though allocations has been made to our village in the tender, taluk panchayat executive officers and zilla panchayat engineers have manipulated the development works according to their wish, without bringing it to the notice of the legislator M T Krishnappanavar, they added.

52nd Rajyotsava celebrations
Turuvekere, dhns:  The members of the Ganarajyotsava Samiti and Taluk Kannada Sahitya Parishat have informed that on November 1, after flag hoisting ceremony at 8:30 am at the Government Higher Primary School ground, the rajyotsava celebrations would be kick started. Flag hoisting ceremony would be conducted by tahsildhar A L Manjunath and legislator M T Krishnappa and others will take part in the celebrations.
