Farmers in Magadi Road and Mysore Road neighbourhoods on Tuesday raised objection to one of the Bangalore Development Authority’s five proposed layouts. Members of the Karnataka Prantha Raitha Sangha, during a convention, pointed out that the proposed Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Layout was tipped to come up on farmers’ land and there had been no talks yet with the farmers with regard to the acquisition of land.
The layout has been planned between Magadi Road and Mysore Road on 4,814 acres and 15 guntas.
Venkatachalaiah, president of the sangha, said the group was mustering support for the cause.
