Geetanjali to scorch the ramp again
Geetanjali Nagpal, who recently hit the headlines after being found begging on the streets of the national capital in tattered clothes, is all set for a relaunch into the fashion world after her release on Tuesday from VIMHANS Hospital here where she underwent a two-month treatment for depression, reports PTI from New Delhi. The Delhi Commission for Women, which took the ex-model under its wings, is planning her relaunch on the ramp on the occasion of the International Women’s Day next year.

14 rebels killed in Lanka clashes
Sri Lankan Air Force fighter jets on Tuesday bombed a major sea base of Tamil Tigers in Sri Lanka’s embattled north as a series of clashes between the security forces and rebels left at least 14 guerrillas dead, officials here said on Tuesday, reports PTI from Colombo. Following surveillance and credible information, the Air Force jets conducted an aerial attack on the sea base in Chilawatta in the northern Mullaithivu district.

AP flash floods: Toll touches 18
At least 18 people were killed in flash floods and heavy rains that lashed four south coastal districts of APduring the last five days, official sources said on Tuesday.
