C P Karthik and R Madhuri won the men’s and women’s title respectively in the MS Ramaiah Memorial open State-ranking table tennis tournament which concluded at the Canara Union here on Tuesday.
While Karthik bagged a double by clinching the youth boys title also, Madhuri made it a treble after winning the junior girls and youth girls title.

Karthik took the third game also in a jiffy and could have finished the game in the fourth set itself after squandering a 7-3 lead. After conceding the third game, Karthik, the came back roaring in the fourth game and raced to a 4-0 lead before winning 11-3.
