 Dalits should develop self-respect and must keep themselves away from the bad habits, said State JD (S) General Secretary K Venkatesh.

Speaking after felicitating the newly elected Town Panchayat members, he said that State government has chalked out several programmes for the upliftment of Dalits.

Dalits should come out of superstitious beliefs and must develop scientific temperament.
Yuva Vedike President K N Paramesh presided.
