A minor girl was allegedly raped on the out skirts  of KGF in Burugamakanhalli  that falls under the jurisdiction of Doddavalgamadi Grama Panchayat. The  crime was committed in the B I M L police station limits.

Shilpa is the daughter of Kodanappa a resident of Burugamakanhalli and a sixth std  student in the  junior primary school in Doddavalgamadi.  She was  returning  home  after  the Gandhi Jayanthi  celebration at  school along with a friend when she entered a farm to pluck gooseberries. Her uncle has accused the owner of the farm Kiran Singh (22) of  raping the young child.

A complaint has been  filed in the B I M L police station. Shilpa was sent to the Government hospital for medical examination and is now undergoing treatment there. Sub Inspector Ramappa has also confirmed that the accused Kiran Singh (22) is absconding and they have  mounted an intensive search to capture him.
