Dog menace

The number of stray dogs in and around Matadahalli Corporation ward no. 97 is growing by the day. Looks like the BBMP is bringing in dogs from the other areas and dumping them here. There are a couple of nursery and primary schools around this place.

I hope the BBMP would take measures to get these dogs to the dog shelters. These dogs pose a threat to the safety and security of the children studying in these schools and the residents living around.

Clogged drains

The underground drainage system in Mothinagar Adi Kabir Ashram and Matadahalli are intact but the residents living around let out the sewage water into the open drain meant for rain water.

These drains are already filled with garbage and other waste thrown in by the residents. The sewage water adds to the stench. The water stagnates and this serves as a perfect breeding ground for mosquitoes.

I hope the BWSSB will take up this issue and redirect the residents to send sewage water through proper channel.

Broken sewage pipes

It is now more than three months since the sewage pipe on the third main of KEB layout in BTM I stage is lying broken.

The sewage water has entered homes and stagnates the potholes and low lying areas in and around this stretch. The residents have a tough time putting up with the stench and the insect menace is unbearable.

Repeated requests to the BWSSB Service station of BTM layout has not borne any result. I hope the authorities would look into the matter at the earliest.

Myriad civic problems

We, the residents of Risaldar Park Road, Seshadripuram would like to express our various grievances:
Of late a huge amount of garbage is being brought from some other areas  and dumped all along the park compound situated on this road in our area.

This accumulated garbage is giving rise to the mosquito breed and residents are forced to use mosquito repellents during day and night, the windows cannot be kept open to get in the fresh air.

The situation gets worst during rainy season. Besides some unidentified party has been regularly dumping debris of demolished structures on this road.

Since this is a dead end road some some people have been using it for activities like writing sign boards, banners, banner frames, repairing motor vehicles and parking of the motor vehicles.

The banner makers occupy the entire road hampering the movement of residents, especially ladies and children. Some banner makers work through the night causing disturbance to the residents. Children cannot go out to play either.

A written complaint was made to the concerned Medical Officer of BBMP but not action has been taken to provide relief to the residents.
