Karnataka bowlers carried on their title-winning spree in the inaugural National Tenpin Bowling Team Championships as Vijay Punjabi and Sheela Kumari combined to give the host team their third title in two days, winning the mixed doubles title.
On the second day of the event at the Star City Bowling Centre here, the current National champion Punjabi teamed up with Sheela for a consistent show to tally 2340 pinfalls, 142 more than statemates Girish Gaba and Pratima Hegde.
Sabeena and Parvez of Tamil Nadu scored 2120 pinfalls for the third spot.
Vijay had the day's highest game of 235 with four games above the double century mark.
Late on Tuesday night, Girish Gaba and Shashi Kumar, paired up to lift the men's doubles title totalling 2430 pinfalls. ahead of Parvez and Dinesh of Tamil Nadu (2308). Punjabi-Ajay pair had to settle for the third position.
