BJP still hopes for the best  
Wednesday was marked to be a red-letter day for the BJP, when its first ever chief minister in South India would have been sworn-in. With its coalition partners the JD(S) not transferring power, it was not to be.
Files pile up in seat of power  
The administration has taken a beating again in the State. With the ministers of the Kumaraswamy cabinet keeping off from the corridors of power, Vidhana Soudha wore a deserted look on Tuesday.
NEW EQUATIONS  
With uncertainty continuing over the transfer of power in the State, every political pundit worth his salt has come out with permutations and combinations that could ease the deadlock. Its a game of ifs and buts, but the possibilities do throw up interesting situations.
Pass 8th if you need a licence  
It is necessary you possess an educational qualification of at least an eighth standard pass if you require a licence for a transport vehicle anywhere in the country. This is one of the amendments made to the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989, which was notified in the Official Gazette on Monday (October 1).
Stars to descend on Mysore for Dasara  
Not that stars, the astronomical ones, ever wanted to miss the fairyland that Mysore becomes this time of the year. This year, stars of the tinsel town will give them company in larger number than ever.
