Interrupted power supply tomorrow
There will be interrupted power supply from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday in Benson Town, Benson Cross, Miller Road, Harris Road, Bore Bank Road, Ramaiah Reddy Layout, Nandidurga Road.
There will be no power supply from 10 am to 3 pm on Saturday in M/s Biocon Pvt Ltd, Jigni Link Road, Hebbagodi, Veerasandra Village, Veerasandra Industrial Area, Huskur Gate, Huskur, Singena Agrahara, Kaggalipura, Chokkasandra, Harehalli, Estate Club, Thirupalya and surrounding villages.

Elephant Day celebrations
As a part of the 53rd Wildlife Week, Karnataka Forest Department is organising Elephant Day celebrations at Bannerghatta National Park, Bannerghatta on Saturday.
Programmes such as lectures on the animal including man-animal elephant conflict from experts, interactive sessions are on the cards from 10.30 am onwards.
Entry to the butterfly park and the National Park is free for students, who participate in these programmes. Transportation is arranged for students to the Park between 7 am to 8 am from Aranya Bhavan, 18th Cross Malleswaram. Contact 23343464, 23341993 for details.
Two-day ‘Festival of short films’
A two-day camp on film-making, Festival of Short Films is being organised by the Post Graduate Department of Communication, Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College, Centre for Management Studies on October 6 and 7, in Bangalore. ‘Jhoom...’ for raising funds
Bangalore Central Round Table -90, a charitable trust, will conduct a fund raising event `Jhoom Barabara Jhoom’ on October 6 at Century Club.
Trust Director Rajesh Madaan told reporters on Thursday that folk singers and artists from Amritsar, Punjab will perform, besides upcoming artists and singers from Bangalore.
The fund raised through this programme will be used for construction of classrooms for the underprivileged children at the Kannada Tamil primary model school at Frazer town, he said. The entry for the event is through invitation.
