Having stuck to his seat even after October 3, Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy is finding it tough to convince everyone for his decision.

Here are some of his reasoning for not handing over power to the BJP.

* Should power be given to those who threatened to perform titi (rites) of H D Deve Gowda and his family members?
* Should we give power to those who called my father mudi goobe (old owl)?
* Should we hand over power to those who vowed to finish off the JD(S) in all 244 constituencies?
* Should we tolerate the party which failed to discipline their party men in Bellary?
* What if incidents like burning TN bus recur? Who will be answerable? Then JD(S) will be blamed for allowing the BJP to come to power.

* If a BJP leader can file an attempt to murder case against the CM, what they would do to the common man after coming to power?

The Chief Minister told Deccan Herald that he wanted to pose these question to the BJP before finalising the transfer of power. “But, the BJP did not allow me to do that”, he added.
