University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, will award one Best Farmer and one Best Farm Woman from each district during the ensuing Krishi Mela scheduled to be held at GKVK, Bangalore from November 16 to 19. In this connection, interested farmers and farm women from Dakshina Kannada district can obtain application forms from the Taluk Assistant Director of Agriculture, Assistant Director of Horticulture, Assistant Director of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, Mangalore, or Programme Co-ordinator, Krishi Vigyan Kendra (DK), Kankanady, Mangalore- 575002.
The filled in application forms should be submitted to any of the taluk-level officers mentioned above and the forms must reach on or before October 25, stated a press release.
