Taluk-level exhibition organised

 Rare photographs of some special schemes organised by the government and also on the important developments of the state is being exhibited at a taluk level exhibition at Arabhikotttanur village in the taluk.

The three-day exhibition has been organised by Information Department and was inaugurated by Assistant Sub Division Officer M S Archana on Thursday. She called on the people to participate in the programme and collect more information regarding the programmes launched by the government.

Some of the rare photographs displayed in the exhibition include the special events such as the construction process of Vidhan Soudha, process of renaming of Karnataka from Mysore State and so on.

Local Gram Panchayat President E Some Gowda appreciated the organisation of the exhibition in a village like Arabhikotttanur.

Gram Panchayat former president Sonne Gowda, Chief Guest of the occasion former APMC President Nanjundapa also spoke.

Taluk Panchayat member Jayalakshmi, gram panchayat former presidents G M Srinivas, Gram Panchayat Vice President T M Ratnamma, members of Gram Panchayat, Assistant Director of Information Department Hamed Khan, Principal, Secretary of Gram Panchayat Muniraju and others were  also present on the occasion.
