'Nation's progress depends on industrial prosperity'
DH News Service, Tumkur:

Nation would be on the path  of development, if industries prospered and provided job opportunities to the unemployed, said Seer Dr Shivakumar Swamiji of Siddaganga Math, here on Thursday.

He was gracing a programme organised to inaugurate the ‘Entrepreneurs Association.’ He said, in order to alleviate people from poverty and to usher prosperity, it was necessary for each and every person to strive hard and become industrious in all their endeavours.

Siting the example of China, the Seer said, today, it is one of the most prosperous countries in the world. The people of China are hard working, industrious and have a foresight. Seeking inspiration from it, if India has to prosper, then it was necessary for its people to laboriously strive hard towards pushing the country on the paths of progress. The industrial sector has more responsibility in this regard, the Seer added.

If the production increases, then automatically the country also progresses. Hence, it is important that production increased. The labourers should be patriotic and committed in their duties, while, the employees should treat his employers with respect and dignity, for they are the pillars of strength of any organisation.

Bless
The Seer blessed the association and said that it should proper and bring in facilities to the labourers. The Seer was presented with Rs 25,001 cash as Guru Vandana by the association members.

The new president of the association N Sukumarayya, who presided over the function, explained in detail about the various problems like power shutdown, water scarcity, etc, which were the basic essentials for running the industries. It was because of these problems that the industries in and around Tumkur were facing a setback, he added.

Requirements
Thus if basic requirements were provided to the industries, it would be easy to function. The association was planning to fight for the welfare of the industries. It would form an important chain between the administration and the industries, he added.

Office-bearers Jayakumar, Mukundakrishnegowda, Parimala, Kamalakar, Deshpande, Ramesh Nayak, P L Ramesh, H R Vishwanath and others were present on the occasion. N Sukumarayya welcomed. S Nagaraju compered the programme. T B Jagadeesh proposed a vote of thanks.
