Villagers have complained that some people are taking transformers illegally and causing problem to public at Tippuru village, Gubbi taluk. T M Shivarudrappa, T B Siddalingappa, T S Shashidhar, Renukaiah and others have submitted a complaint letter to BESCOM officials in this regard.
They have stated in the letter that despite having 63 KV transformer people are troubling others by keeping 25 KV alternate transformer. People who have taken 25 KV additional transformer has not paid the money to the government. Moreover, their connection has become threat to regular power and water supply.
No action
They said despite officials’ inspection of the transformers, nothing has changed. Hence, the authorities concerned should clear these additional transformers due to which public are not getting water as well as power regularly, they urged.
Threat
They warned the authorities concerned saying that they would move the court, if they fail to take action with regard to this.
They said the authoroties concerned should react to this at the earliest as people are in pathetic condition. Hence, they are struggling to do their normal activites. “We hope action will be taken soon”, they said.
