Zilla Panchayat meeting failed to come to an agreement with regard to the formation of standing committees here on Friday.

Despite, the opposition from JD(S) members, Congress members gave away the power of forming standing committees to Zilla Panchayat President Krishnamurthy. Hence, JD(S) members walked out of the meeting.  Their absence at the middle of the meeting was not technically approved as JD(S) members had signed in the register book at the beginning of the meeting.
