Let's support each other: Alangur
DH News Service, Kolar:
Minister for Municipal Administration Mr Alanguru Shrinivas said, if JD(S) gets the support in occupying the president's post in the Kolar CMC, the party would give it back in the vice president election.

Speaking to the reporters at his farm house in Mulbagal, he said that there is no problem for him to support either Varthur Prakash’s faction neither Congress party. Answering to a question about his blood relation with MLA of Kolar K Srinivas Gowda and the Varthur faction trying to curb him, he said that in politics, blood relationship is of least importance and that he would not consider such matters.

He also said that Varthur Prakash has contacted him over the phone and refused to give the details of it. Announcement for reserved category of CMC and TMC President and Vice President may be delayed for yet another four weeks due to the ongoing political developments in the state, he added.

Friendship with BJP has been broken now and the further political development will be looked after by JD(S) Chief H D Deve Gowda, he said. He would support H D Deve Gowda’s decisions in this regard, he added.

In politics, either enmity nor friendship lasts long and recalled various comments of BJP when they tied up with Congress. On the other hand, Congress too commented when they tied up with BJP, and if now they join hands with Congress now, then they may have to face criticism from BJP, he said.

He also hoped for a final decision regarding power transfer in the state in the next few days.

JD(S) leaders Byalahalli M Govinda Gowda, Murandahalli Gopal, Banakanahalli Nataraj, Shrikrishna, Journalist C M Muniyappa and others were present.
