The students of JOC department at Government Junior PU College, Tarikere, staged a protest alleging that no classes are being conducted properly in the college.
The students took out a procession from College premises to education department.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms Kavitha said “College offers courses in horticulture, tailoring and more than 200 students are pursuing their education. The teachers have boycotted the classes for the past two months urging the authorities to fulfill their demands. No classes are being held.
Now the dates for the examinations have been announced and we are not in a position to read for the examination.”
They urged the senior officials to solve their problems at the earliest.
