:There were many programmes that were conducted here to celebrate Gandhi Jayanthi. But this initiative stood out among the rest.
Sneha psychiatric centre had organised a free psychiatric counselling camp taking forward Bapu’s ideal that a healthy mind and body could combat any stress and strain that life would throw at us. Mahatma firmly believed the mind and the body had to work in tandem and had to be in top shape for us to deal with life and all its problems. Taking forward this belief, Sneha psychiatric centre had organised this free camp. The visitors were given free psychiatric help.

He being equally bogged down by the psychological problems that seem to have become and inevitable part of development and modern lifestyle.
However the rural people who are not aware that psychological problems have definite solutions like their bodily counterparts, normally neglect it. Another reason for this neglect is that psychiatric treatment is expensive.
