Late poet remembered
DH News Service, Tumkur:

Poet Sannaguddaiah may have departed physically but he continues to live with us emotionally. It is difficult to imagine his loss, said Baraguru Ramchandrappa in Nudi Namana (lyrical ode) organised in honour of the poet who died recently in Tumkur. The lyrical ode was organised by his family and friends on Sunday.

Baraguru Ramachandrappa, Basavaiah, N B Chandramohan, H Siddalingaiah, T S Lohitashwa, R Lakshminarayan, D Shanta and D Sumitra and others participated in function held in Siddeshwara Kalyana Mantap. Ramachandrappa opined that from past three months Tumkur has lost three important  people in the form of K R Nayak, Veechi and Sannaguddaiah who were a source of inspiration and richly contributed to the cultural world in the 60s

.An emotionally charged Ramachandrappa said they were indeed irreplaceable in the cultural world.

“Though the Bangalore centred critical world failed acknowledge the talents elsewhere but poet Sannaguddaiah is exception to this” said the writer.

Aware of this Sannaguddaiah never let it hurt his creativity. He was a man of simple words and true visionary in his writings. said Ramachandrappa. Other dignitaries from the city have also paid their tribute to the departed poet terming him a eternal source of inspiration.
