Leading jewellery maker, Rajesh Exports on Monday reported a net profit of Rs 54.24 crore for the quarter ending September 30, 2007, as compared to Rs 21.16 crore for the corresponding period a year ago, recording a jump of 156 per cent.
The company’s revenue for the quarter under review stood at Rs 2044.21 crore, as compared to Rs 1712.22 crore for the same quarter last year, an increase of 19.38 per cent. Commenting on the company’s performance Rajesh Mehta, Chairman, Rajesh Exports said, “The company’s focus on margin expansion is bearing results. I am confident that the company will post higher profits, as the margin expansion plans of the company will keep maturing over the period of time.”
The company registered an EPS of Rs 14.67 for the quarter as compared to Rs 5.73 for the same period a year ago, registering an increase of 156.34 per cent.
