District Congress Committee President B Ramanath Rai has made it clear that each member of the party should maintain a disciplined behaviour among themselves.
Speaking after felicitating the newly elected councillors of Mangalore City Corporation at a programme convened at Sandesha Fine Arts College auditorium on Monday, he said if anybody has suspicion or disbelief regarding any other member he should compulsorily inform the same to him.
He called upon the Congress corporators to be responsible Opposition party in the MCC in the days to come. Chances are there for fresh elections in the State at any point of time, hence all should be ready for new responsibilities, he said. KUDCEMP Project Director J R Lobo conducted a training session for the newly elected councillors.
DCC Vice-President Tejomaya, Karnataka Cashew Development Corporation former chief Kallige Taranath Shetty, North Block Congress President Suresh Ballal, Minority Division President Moideen Bava, M G Hegde and Ivan D’Souza were present.
