The NSS wing was recently inaugurated  at the  newly opened Government first degree  college at Tiptur by Principal Jayadevappa.

“ The youth of our  country should develop a sense of nationalism and  patriotism and should  increasingly take part in community programmes. You  should also strive towards protecting the  environment, keeping the  earth healthy and clean and other projects that will help the society.

The National Service Scheme is one such initiative that  encourages that young people of our  country to work  for its  development. You as NSS members have a responsibility to take this  objective  forward” he  added.
As part of the programme the student  cleared the debris that  had  collected around the college    and also  cleaned the  toilets.L M Venkatesh elucidated on the various objectives of the NSS and  also explained the other activities which will be undertaken by   it. He called on all to  lend  their  whole hearted  support to the  acitivities under taken.

Basavaraj, Shiva Kumar were the  lecturers who also participated in the event along with Ranga lakshmi, Yoga instructor T B Satish and others were present.

Elected
K P Rudramuniswamy has  been elected as the president of the  Vinayaka Consumers association and T G  Basavraju has been  elected as the vice  president. T U Jagadish Murthy will the  secretary and P K Thipperudrappa, N  Basavaiaha, R M Renukaradhya, G K  Nagabhushanaradhya, B S Mallikarjuna and A S Swarnalath are the directors for the term.
