Jalappa hopeful of Congress party's win in civic polls

Member of Parliament Jalappa said, the riot that the JD(S) activists erupted during his speech at the inauguration of Chikkaballapur district recently would do little to spoil his image.

Member of Parliament Jalappa said, the riot that the JD(S) activists erupted during his speech at the inauguration of Chikkaballapur district recently would do little to spoil his image, instead, he threatened, the activists could expect a proper reply from him shortly.

Speaking at a press conference, Mr Jalappa said that the coalition government is busy pulling each others legs which will indirectly benefit Deve Gowda’s family. In a mocking manner, Mr Jalappa questioned as to which temple shall this time Mr Deve Gowda choose, to make his another son Chief Minister of the state.

Jalappa said that Deve Gowda only intended to make his son the Chief Minister of the state, he had lured the congress members before and when they did no pay much attention, he asked his son to share the power with BJP so that they can benefit from this coalition,  Mr Jallappa alleged.

No conflicts
There are no conflicts within Congress party. This time Congress will definitely win the polls in the local body election, he added.

Committee formed
 Jalappa said that a committee has been formed to give tickets to honest and sincere persons and this will be headed by Senior Congress leaders S A Ashwathanarayana Shetty, Block Congress president R Ashok Kumar and MLA N H Shivashankar Reddy.

Support
The MP  also called upon the party members to support those who contest the polls from the party and solve petty conflicts in the taluk congress party.

Block Congress president R Ashok Kumar, former Town Municipal Corporation president Subbamma Gowda, Congress leader Hanume Gowda,Kolar District Milk Union  President director S Ramesh, Block Congress secretary G Venu, former TMC member Savitha Prakash, member of Nagarika Hitarakshana Samithi G Balaji and others were present at the press conference.
