Deputy Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa said that BJP is making all efforts to ensure unprecedented victory in the election for the local bodies which will be held on September 28.
Speaking to reporters at the tourist bungalow during his visit to participate in the BJP workers’ convention organised at Kadur Rotary Hall on Wednesday, he refused to speak on any topic other than the elections. He said, in the local body elections, BJP will join hands with any party except Congress.
Making tie-ups is left to the discretion of district party leaders and the top leaders will not interfere in this issue, Mr Yediyurappa added.
There is no connection between the appointment of the new JDS State president and transfer of power on October 3.
