Mysore, YSC emerge champs
Mysore District and Youngsters Sports Club, Bangalore, won the boys’ and girls’ titles respectively in the State junior throwball championships at the Sree Kanteerava stadium on Sunday.
In the boys final, Mysore District defeated Dakshina Kannada 25-20, 20-25, 25-20, while Youngsters Sports Club, Bangalore beat Dakshina Kannada District 25-15, 21-25, 25-22 to annex the girls crown.

Girls: Shruthi, Sahana, Sneha (Youngsters) S. Banu, (Dakshina Kannada).

Satvik, Andria clinch titles
Satvik M of Poornaprajna Education Society, Bangalore, and Andria L D’Souza of St Agnes School, Mangalore, clinched the boys’ and girls’ section titles respectively in the Yahoo State under-9 chess championship at the State Youth Centre on Sunday.
