HDFC launches Signature Card
HDFC Bank on Monday, launched ‘Visa Signature Credit Card’ for high end customers to fulfil their financial and travel needs. The credit card, with a minimum credit limits of Rs three lakhs, would be offered by only invitation, the company said in Bangalore on Monday. The card members would get privileges including special offers on HDFC bank auto loans, loans against shares, demat and foreign exchange products.
Trinetra- New video platform
Intellvisions Software Ltd and Cradle Technologies have launched the next generation video platform Trinetra, an embedded IP-based intelligent video platform for security and surveillance that provides design flexibility to OEM's (Original Equipment Manufacturers) in the high end IP surveillance arena. “Embedding intelligence at the board level dramatically reduces overall system complexity and maintenance, improves system performance, and lowers implementation and lifecycle costs,” Intellvisions Software MD S Nair said in Bangalore.
IT stocks plunge on US concerns
A major melt-down was witnessed in early stage on the bourses on Monday across the board as software exporting company stocks plunged on reports of a fall in the US job data for the first time in four years, adding to concerns growth might slow down in the largest export market. The IT index suffered the most by 88.81 points at 4570.89 as software majors TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Satyam recorded hefty losses since over 50 per cent of the software revenue comes from the US markets. The Tech index also lost 36.94 points at 3605.36 as most of the media and entertainment stocks also traded lower.
Koutons to enter capital market
Koutons Retail India proposes to enter the capital markets on September 18, 2007 with an initial public offerings (IPO) of 3,524,439 equity shares of Rs 10 each through a 100 per cent book building process, the company said in Mumbai on Friday. The IPO consists of a fresh issue of around 26 lakh equity shares and an offer for sale of around nine lakh equity shares. The issue closes on September 21, 2007 and the price band has been fixed at Rs 370 to Rs 415 per equity share. Koutons proposes to utilise the net proceeds of the issue to fund its business expansion and corporate purposes.
Hitachi Data gets new MD
Hitachi Data Systems, on Monday, announced the appointment of Natarajan Viswanathan (Natty) as Managing Director of its India operations. Mr Viswanathan will be responsible for providing sales direction and leadership to achieve Hitachi Data Systems’ corporate business objectives in India. He brings with him 29 years of experience in country sales management, business development and operational leadership. He will work closely with the Asia Pacific business leaders in driving the growth and expansion of the company’s revenue and market share in India.
