The newly appointed District Congress Committee (DCC) President Ramanath Rai reiterated that there is no misunderstanding and differences of opinion among the Congress leaders.
Addressing a press meet here on Monday, he said “since the election process has begun, my priority as DCC President is facing forthcoming the MCC and town municipal council election.” Later, part will be strengthened in the district.
Stating that in the last MCC election, Congress has won more number of seats, he said even in this election, Congress will more number of seats, he added.
Congress has always given opportunity for youth and women. The list of candidates will be finalised soon. It will be finalised with the presence of senior leader Janardhana Poojary, and subsequently will be sent to the KPCC Chief, Mr Rai said. A party workers convention will be held in which power will be handed over to the newly appointed DCC President soon.
