Rural students can avail online CET coaching and English training at Nemmadi centres now. Two educational programmes CET Karnataka and Refine English, to be offered at 750 Nemmadi centres in 28 districts of Karnataka through satellite network, were launched on Monday.
The satellite network will provide a two-way communication and create a virtual classroom, where students and faculty can interact with each-other.
Students of all streams of I PU can join a 500 hour course for Rs 15,000 (+taxes) and students of II PU, a 300 hour course for Rs 13,000 (+taxes) for preparation of CET, said Mr Vaibhav. Refine English is a seven week (three times a week) programme. Two private companies, Hughes Communications India Limited and Comat Technologies Private Limited, have collaborated for it.
