Viswanath is one of the best batsmen Karnataka has produced in the last few decades. His commitment to game of cricket is exemplary. He has all the credentials to be the President of KSCA. Unfortunately money and political power prevail over merit. This is another case where merit takes a back seat when politicians and rich people are involved. Wadiyar's allegations against Brijesh Patel may be of very trivial nature and did not cut ice with majority of the voters and his good work in the last few years enabled him to get reelected as Secretary of KSCA.
