Director and Inspector General of Police, Karnataka, K R Srinivasan was admitted to Mallya Hospital on Monday morning after he reportedly complained of breathlessness.

He has been suffering from fever for the past two days. On Monday he complained of weakness, breathlessness and body pain. He was immediately taken to Mallya Hospital where he was admitted in the ICU.  Sources close to the DGP denied that he is in the hospital ICU. “He had gone to the hospital for a routine check up, which he does once in every two months. He is at his residence and doctors have advised him rest for a day,” said the source. The hospital sources declined to comment.
