Dr Batra’s Positive Health Clinics announced interesting findings from an AC Nielsen study on the growth prospects of homoeopathy market in India.
On behalf of Dr Batra’s, AC Nielsen an international marketing research firm, conducted interviews with six hundred and fifty respondents across seven cities in the country for a duration of six months (November 2006 to April 2007) to gauge the potential of Homoeopathy industry.
According to the findings, 82 percent of Homoeopathy users would not switch to the conventional medicines.
Talking to reporters last week, Dr Mukesh Batra, Chairman and Managing Director of Dr Batra’s Positive Health Clinics Pvt Ltd said: “Considering the results achieved through the AC Nielsen research, we have chalked out a strategy whereby awareness programs, campaigns and testimonials of patients using Homoeopathy will be shared with individuals to make them aware of the benefits of Homoeopathy.”
Dr Mukesh Batra also pointed out that Homoeopathic treatment is often approached as a last resort when all other allopathic and Ayurvedic medicines have failed.
Due to this, the duration of treatment increases since the ailment reaches an advanced stage. Its a disturbing trend and people should prefer taking Homoeopathy during the initial stages of the disease for successful treatment.
