The moment you come out of the cinema hall, one song will stick to your mind without your knowledge - ‘Heegeke Nange’.....
This is the highlight of the another tragic love story ‘Ninade Nenapu’ - feel my love. This movie is for those who loved but failed to express it.
The plot revolves around Vijay (Mayur Patel), a studious college student who believes that love should happen, instead of chasing it.
He is popular in the College, and his junior, Shilpa (Maaya) falls in love with him. She expects him to propose to her, a ‘policy’ she has believed in.
As Vijay’s only focus is to get settled in life, he never paid attention to her. Circumstances force him to seek her friendship, thanks to a ‘work’ given by the College principal. An elated Shilpa mistakes him, thinking that he is in love with her.
Unfortunately, neither he understands her feelings nor she expresses it. This makes it a tragic love story. State award winner Madan Patel has toiled to make it a meaningful love story.
He has tried to bring nativity to the story, as it has been shot in Malnad region. The film has all the ingredients of a commercial film.
It is very evident that Kannada film makers are giving prominence to lyrics as most of the new songs have ‘poetic language’. Aadi has scored good music.
This is a movie for real lovers. The director rightly says - one must express one’s love - it is not a feeling to be ashamed of, in the end.
