Applications are invited from eligible candidates for enrolment of PhD programme for the year 2007-08, stated a press release issued by Mangalore University.

The eligibility is 55 per cent marks and 50 per cent marks in case of SC/ST/Category 1 or physically challenged candidates and in-service candidates having atleast five years of teaching/research experience and others on valid grounds.

Prescribed application forms may be obtained in person on payment of Rs 500 through Demand Draft or challan in any one of the nationalised banks in favour of the Finance Officer, Mangalore University.

The applications are available with the chairman of Post Graduate Departments concerned, Mangalore University or Assistant Registrar, New Administrative Building, Mangalore University or Principal, University College, Hampankatta or Principal, FMKM Cariappa College, Madikeri.

Duly filled in applications in duplicate along with required documents may be sent through the recognised research guide to the chairman of the concerned Post Graduate department/ head of the recognised institution or college on or before October 5.
